Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a premier public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, has announced a recruitment drive for various technical and managerial roles. Candidates with relevant qualifications and experience are invited to apply online by July 18, 2025.

Available Vacancies: Post-wise Breakdown

CSL is hiring for 9 positions across three distinct roles:

• Project Officer – 5 Vacancies

• Special Project Engineer – 1 Vacancy

• Consultant (Shipping & Building) – 3 Vacancies

Educational Qualifications & Work Experience

Project Officer

• Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Applications with minimum 60% marks from a recognized institution.
• Experience: At least 2 years in shipyards, ports, engineering companies, or government/public/private sector firms.

Special Project Engineer

• Educational Qualification: Diploma in Engineering (discipline not specified).

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in ship repair or shipbuilding projects.

Consultant (Shipping and Building)

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s in Engineering/Technology or a Master’s/Postgraduate degree from a premier institution in India or abroad.

• Experience: Between 4 to 6 years in consulting, public sector units, or corporate companies.

Age Limit Criteria

• Project Officer: Maximum 30 years
• Special Project Engineer: Maximum 55 years
• Consultant (Shipping & Building): Up to 45 years

Age relaxation rules may apply as per government norms.

Salary Details

Selected candidates will be offered a monthly salary ranging from ₹46,000 to ₹63,000, based on the position and experience level.
